Congratulations to Counselor Steve Pirates for his winning entry:

No runner-ups, honorable mentions, or walls of shame? This is a pretty cut-and-dry rip-off you’re doing here.

Hmmm…I don’t know if this is what you were looking to hear, Counselor Oliver, but if I were to award a runner-up…I think it’d be me.
Now, sure, I could give you an honerable mention…but at this point…woudl it really mean anythign?
There’ll be more cartoon contests…and your entry did show promise…so hang in there. keep fighting the good fight.

Totally putting this on the resume.

I actually didn’t think mine was very good, Rick…I was actively attempting to make light of the picture as opposed to making a serious entry. But that you think that I thought that mine was good is…I guess…a compliment? I think? Maybe?
I was simply suggesting that if you’re going to do a caption contest you’d do well to be more…I suppose “thorough” would be the word. But I digress as I am becoming too pretentious. I eagerly await the second contest.

Too pretentious? No such thing on LSB…
Counselor Ryan just submitted the second drawing. It’s equally good/bad.
